WMG gives back to the professional community
One of our educational partners, Ashton College, not only offers great career training courses, but also actively engages with their alumni and the whole professional community through seminars and advisory committees. The Immigration Consulting Diploma program is ICCRC accredited and continually improved with the help of respective members of the Program Advisory Committee (PAC).
As of July 2014, our own Senior Immigration Counsel Dr. Alex Titov will contribute his knowledge of Canadian Immigration law and consulting experience to Ashton College’s Immigration Consulting Program Advisory Committee.
“Being able to take part in the program review process and recommend, from first hand experience, what future Canadian Immigration consultants focus their studies on is such a great honor. I’m a firm believer that experience is the best teacher and I’m proud to have the opportunity to work alongside other professionals in the immigration field to improve our education system.”
– Dr. Alex Titov, RCIC
Advisory Committee serves two functions: current program review and development of new programs. In essence, the committee provides the necessary basis for subsequent curriculum decisions which ultimately address the needs of the students. By providing a system for external review by immigration industry professionals like Dr. Titov, Ashton College ensures its programs are highly relevant, facilities are appropriate, and resources are qualified.
